I've probably said it before, but I'll say it again: Smash Bros. Brawl is awesome. Everything I expected it to be and more.
Playing it for the first time was kinda surreal. After all the hype and what seemed like an eternity of waiting and it was almost anticlimactic.


Very much so, in fact, because I promptly selected Ike and just as promptly committed suicide, because the Wiimote+Nunchuk control sucks. But once I got home to my nice Gamecube controller, things picked up a bit.




While I'm speaking of Ike, it's time for me to let fly.

Stop. Telling. Everyone. Ike. Is. Gay.
People do this on the message boards and tell it like it's a fact, just to stir up trouble. Admittedly I have said similar to annoy some people, but I never said it was fact.. I said he could be.

And that is the truth. COULD be. We DO NOT KNOW.

You can fight this all you want. You can tell me how Ike's endings are only with guys, or how men don't show affection like that.

I don't know about you, but I thought all the endings where the lords get married to the hot girl were really cliche. And the moment that FE decides to introduce a character with no apparent sexual interest and a couple close friends, the fangirls immediately assume he's gay.
He never kisses a guy. He HUGS one. Hugs do not make you gay. Do you like watching your friends cry? No? I know I don't. I can't stand there and let someone sob with no shoulder to cry on.


And before you tell me I'm homophobic, or I just don't like the pairing, let me remind you that I have colored a full picture of that pair (that is, Soren+Ike) and drawn TWO MORE of my own accord. I am working on a fourth one which makes the other three pale in comparison.

I accept that is it the most possible pairing, but I know that it is not confirmed. Not in Japanese, not in English, nowhere. For the love of Yune and Ashera, just stop. >_< You're just going to create a rift between the FE fans if you keep pushing your positions as truth. All the fighting is meaningless because neither side can be proven right or wrong (and if you disagree with me on this, you're far too biased).
Can't we all get along?

And I swear, if I see ONE MORE PICTURE that says "Well, maybe Marth's not gay but Ike definitely is", someone is going to freaking die.
